You can introduce yourself right here!
Here are the basic rules so you don't mess up:
1.You cannot introduce other people's characters in this board, just your own.
2. You may introduce your original characters but specify you're doing so.
Example (title): [insert name] (character)
3. Netspeak, chatspeak and text smileys rules apply:
4. Do not bash other people's introductions. You're of course free to disagree but not like: "Ew, you suck." That's just immature.
Step by step (guidelines, not rules):
1. Just post a new thread with the title "[your name here]". This is the only obligatory step.
2. Write in first person. It adds up to the feeling.
3. Also, you are strongly encouraged to write your introduction as a sort of essay. It can be as long as you want, so long as it's understandable.
Example: "Hello, my name is [insert name] and I live in [insert place]." That could be your first sentence, for example.
Remember: every species is allowed.
So, enjoy your stay!

5. Netspeak is allowed when you're fooling around or being sarcastic. Posts with majority of netspeak will be revised or, if unreadable, deleted.
We don't need a translator to tell us what the threads are about. We want to keep the forum clean and understandable.
"plz d0nt d0 ths 4ll th3 t1m0rz."
The same goes for chat speak. This is not a chat; it's a forum and we'd appreciate it if you talked English.
6. You are allowed to use text smileys. These consist of "xD", "(:", ";3;" and others. Do not, however, make an entire post out of these smileys
